Bump & Go Goose requires 3 AA batteries (not included). We recommend using Duracell or Energizer alkaline batteries only. Other types of batteries supply lower voltage and the unit may not perform properly. Do not use rechargeable batteries and never mix old and new or different brands or types of batteries.
The battery compartment is located under the toy. The battery compartment is located on the base. Remove the battery cover and install 2 AA batteries, paying attention to battery polarity. Replace the battery cover and secure it with the screw.
Connect Bump & Go Goose to any external capability switch with a 1/8-inch plug (not included) by means of the 1/8-inch jack at the end of the cord. Be sure there are no gaps between the jack and the plug.
Activate the switch and watch Bump & Go Goose dance. If you deactivate the switch, the toy will stop.
If the Bump & Go Goose does not function correctly:
- Make sure that the external capability switch is pushed all the way in and there is no gap.
- Replace the batteries paying close attention to polarity.
- Try your switch with another switch-operated device to rule out the switch as the source of the problem.
If you will not be using the toy for an extended amount of time, remove the batteries.
The Bump & Go Goose can be damp-wiped clean with a cloth and any household multi-purpose cleaner and disinfectant.
Do not use abrasive cleaners.
Do not submerge the unit as it will damage the electrical components.
