The Sunshine Switch is extremely durable. Built to withstand heavy duty use. Liquid resistant. Provides audible, visual and tactile feedback. Makes pleasant "click" sound when activated. Connects to devices with 1/8 plug at the end of the 3 foot wire. Base mounts to surfaces with with two predrilled holes. No batteries required.
Dimensions: 4.25" Round x 1" High
Weight: 3 ounces
To use, simply insert the 1/8 plug into the jack of any switch-adapted toy or device. If it is necessary to use a 1/8th adapter, it must be a mono adapter, not a stereo.
Make sure that the connection is tight and there are no gaps.
Now, simply press or gently squeeze anywhere on the Sunshine Switch's colorful top to activate your toy or device. Generally, the device will remain activated as long as the switch is pressed and will turn off when you release the switch. However, some devices such as our Mother Goose plush, will continue to activate even when the switch is released. Pressing the switch a second time will turn off that device. Check the specification of each device you are activating.
No batteries are required.
Sunshine Switches are surface washable only. Do not submerge the switches, as damage to the electrical components will occur.
These Switches can be wiped clean with any household multi-purpose cleaner and disinfectant. Do not use abrasive cleaners, as they will scratch the surface of the switch.
If the switch does not activate your toy or device:
1. Make sure that the external capability switches are pushed all the way in and there are no gaps.
2. Test your switches with another device to make sure the switch is not the source of the problem.
3. If you are using an adapter, try a different one to determine if the adapter is the source of the problem.
