Card Shuffler #951
Card shufflers are a great solution for anyone that suffers from dexterity impairments. And our Card Shuffler has also been adapted to operate by means of any external capability switch. So, whether you’re playing Hearts, UNO, or Fish, now everyone can join in the fun.
Operation
Our Card Shuffler will shuffle two deck of cards. It requires 4 AA batteries (not included). We recommend using Duracell or Energizer alkaline batteries only. Other types of batteries supply lower voltage and the unit may not perform properly. Do not use rechargeable batteries and never mix old and new or different brands or types of batteries.
The battery compartments are located on the bottom of the unit. Remove the battery covers and install 4 AA batteries, paying attention to battery polarity. Close the battery covers.
The card shuffler can be used either with or without a capability switch.
To use it without a capability switch, place a deck of cards in each of the two compartments on each side of the shuffler. The cards should face the same way, either up or down, in each compartment. Now simply press gently on the lever at the front of the unit that says “PRESS DOWN TO OPERATE”. Maintain steady pressure on the lever until all the cards have run through. This will help to keep the unit from jamming. To access the cards, simply pull out the clear plastic tray that they are sitting in.
To operate the Card Shuffler with an external capability switch (not included), connect any external capability switch with a 1/8-inch plug to the 1/8-inch jack on the cord at the back of the shuffler. Be sure there are no gaps between the jack and the plug.
Keep your switch activated until all the cards are shuffled.
If the Card Shuffler does not function correctly:
- Make sure that the external capability switch is pushed all the way in and there is no gap.
- Replace the batteries paying close attention to polarity.
- Try your switch with another switch-operated device to rule out the switch as the source of the problem.
If you will not be using the Card Shuffler for an extended amount of time, remove the batteries.
The Card Shuffler can be wiped clean with any household multi-purpose cleaner and disinfectant.
Do not use abrasive cleaners as they may scratch the surface.
Do not submerge the unit as it will damage the electrical components.
