Bingo requires 3 AA batteries (not included). We recommend using Duracell or Energizer alkaline batteries only. Other types of batteries supply lower voltage and the unit may not perform properly. Do not use rechargeable batteries and never mix old and new or different brands or types of batteries.
The battery compartment is located on the side of the toy. Remove the battery cover and install 3 AA batteries, paying attention to battery polarity. Replace the battery cover and secure it with the screw.
Connect Bingo to any external capability switch (not included) with a 1/8-inch plug by means of the 1/8-inch jack at the end of the cord. Be sure there are no gaps between the jack and the plug.
Place the numbered balls in the cage, then activate your external switch to start the cage rotating. One full revolution of the cage will drop a ball into the tray. The cage will continue to rotate while your switch is actuated. To stop the cage, release the switch.
The cage can be rotated by hand, but do so gently so as not to damage the motor.
If you will not be playing Bingo for an extended amount of time, remove the batteries.
The unit can be wiped clean with any household multi-purpose cleaner and disinfectant. Do not use abrasive cleaners, as they may scratch the surface. Do not submerge the unit, as it will damage the electrical components.
If Bingo does not function correctly:
- Make sure that the external capability switch is pushed all the way in and there is no gap.
- Replace the batteries paying close attention to polarity.
- Try your switch with another switch-operated device to rule out the switch as the source of the problem.
