Massaging Neck Pillow #4019
People with sensory difficulties enjoy soothing vibration. Gentle vibrations encourage relaxation and work well to calm an over-stimulated person. Vibrating massagers are ideal for people with autism, ADHD, or sensory processing disorder.
Massage not only provides tactile sensory stimulation and relaxation, but it also can improve cognitive skills, focusing and social relatedness. It can increase muscle tone, which in turn can increase fine and gross motor skills. It also can help decrease sleeping issues.
Our soft, plush, memory foam, 2-speed vibrating neck pillow provides soothing and energizing vibrotactile feedback. Simply wrap the massager around you and adjust the ends for instant relaxation. It can be used with or without vibration, which can be activated by any 1/8-inch capability switch. It can also be used lying down on your legs, arms, head, or any other part of the body to help relax and soothe tired and aching muscles. Colors may vary.
The Massaging Neck Pillow requires 2 AA batteries (not included). We recommend using Duracell or Energizer alkaline batteries only. Other types of batteries supply lower voltage and the unit may not perform properly. Do not use rechargeable batteries and never mix old and new or different brands or types of batteries.
The battery compartment is located in the pillow, under the zipper near the cord. Open the battery cover and install 2 AA batteries, paying attention to battery polarity. Close the battery cover and click it into place.
Turn the vibrator ON and OFF by pressing on the rocker switch. There are 2 speeds of vibration to choose from, as indicated on the switch.
Connect the Massaging Neck Pillow to any external capability switch (not included) with a 1/8-inch plug by means of the 1/8-inch jack at the end of the cord. Be sure there are no gaps between the jack and the plug. Activate your switch, to turn the vibrator on.
If the Massaging Neck Pillow does not function correctly:
- Check that the rocker switch on the pillow is turned on.
- Make sure that the plug on the external capability switch is pushed all the way into the jack and there is no gap.
- Replace the batteries paying close attention to polarity.
- Try your switch with another switch-operated device to rule out the switch as the source of the problem.
If you will not be using the Massaging Neck Pillow for an extended amount of time, remove the batteries.
The Massaging Neck Pillow is surface washable only. It can be wiped clean with a damp cloth and any household multi-purpose cleaner and disinfectant.
Do not submerge the pillow, as it will damage the electrical components.
