Mini Disco Ball requires 3 AA batteries (not included).  We recommend using Duracell or Energizer alkaline batteries only.  Other types of batteries supply lower voltage and the unit may not perform properly. Do not use rechargeable batteries and never mix old and new or different brands or types of batteries.

The battery compartment is located under the toy.  Remove the battery cover and install 3 AA batteries, paying attention to battery polarity. Replace the battery cover and secure it with the screw.

To use the Mini Disco Ball with a switch, slide the switch on the bottom of the base to the OFF position.  Insert any external capability switch (not included) with a 1/8-inch plug, into the 1/8-inch jack on the base.  Be sure there are no gaps between the jack and the plug.  The Disco Ball will continue to rotate while your switch is actuated.  To stop the Disco Ball, release the switch.

To use the Mini Disco Ball without a switch, simply slide the switch on the bottom of the base to the ON position.

Do not rotate the clear disco ball by hand as it could damage the motor.

If you will not be playing Mini Disco Ball for an extended amount of time, remove the batteries.

The unit can be wiped clean with any household multi-purpose cleaner and disinfectant.  Do not use abrasive cleaners, as they may scratch the surface.

Do not submerge the unit, as it will damage the electrical components.

If Mini Disco Ball does not function correctly:

  1. Make sure the switch on the bottom of the base is in the OFF position, if you are activating the disco ball with a capability switch, and in the ON position if you are not using a capability switch.
  2. Make sure that the external capability switch is pushed all the way in and there is no gap.
  3. Replace the batteries paying close attention to polarity.

  4. Try your switch with another switch-operated device to rule out the switch as the source of the problem.
