Squishy Switches #789 (B,G,R,Y)
Everyone loves to fidget.
And our Squishy Switches are bright, soft, colorful and super fidgety. So, everyone wants, needs, or should have a Squishy Switch.
Our Squishy Switches are high-quality, durable gel switches, built to withstand heavy-duty use. They feature a large bright, colorful 4-1/2 inch activation surface filled with translucent beads, glitter and colored gel. When pressed, the switch clicks, providing audible feedback to the user as well as calming, sensory stimulation. They are easily activated with very little pressure.
We offer a choice of 4 bright colors: blue (B), green (G), red (R) and yellow (Y).
Our Squishy Switches offer many options. They can be used simply for tactile stimulation (fidgeting), or as a switch. They also can be used with or without lights.
To operate the Squishy Switches with lights requires 2 AA batteries (not included). We recommend using Duracell or Energizer alkaline batteries only. Other types of batteries supply lower voltage and the unit may not perform properly. Do not use rechargeable batteries and never mix old and new or different brands or types of batteries.
The battery compartment is located on the bottom of the unit. Remove the battery cover and install the AA batteries, paying attention to battery polarity. Replace the battery cover and secure it with the screw.
To turn the lights on, toggle the switch on the bottom of the unit to the right. Then apply light pressure to the large gel activation area. The Squishy gel pad will light up.
To use the Squishy Switch as an activation switch, insert the 1/8 plug into the jack of any switch-adapted toy or device. If it is necessary to use a 1/8th adapter, it must be a mono adapter, not a stereo.
Make sure that the connection is tight and there are no gaps.
Now, simply press anywhere on the Squishy Switch’s colorful gel pad to activate your toy or device. Generally, the device will remain activated as long as the switch is pressed and will turn off when you release the switch. However, some devices will continue to activate even when the switch is released. Pressing the switch a second time will turn off that device. Check the specification of each device you are activating.
To turn the lights off, simply toggle the switch on the back of the unit to the left.
If the Squishy Switch does not light up, make sure the switch on the bottom of the unit is toggled to the right. If this does not correct the problem, change the batteries, paying close attention to polarity.
If the Squishy Switch does not activate your toy or device, first check the connection between the plug and the jack to make sure there is no gap.
If this does not correct the problem, try a different switch to determine if the problem is in the switch or the device it is plugged into.
If you are using an adapter, try a different one to determine if the problem is with the adapter.
The Squishy Switches can be wiped clean with any household multi-purpose cleaner and disinfectant.
Do not use abrasive cleaners, as they will scratch the surface.
Do not submerge the unit, as it will damage the electrical components.
